Galera, a cx. postal recebe o email do blogueiro de plantão, Robert van Zyl, de Angola e pede um "help" sobre as baratas e pilotos que competiram na terra. A história é mais ou menos assim:

"Caro colega Saloma,
Li o seu artigo no livro sobre "Interlagos", recentemente adquirido, e estou esperando que você seja capaz de me ajudar.
Durante o período final da segunda guerra mundial até a independência de Angola, em 11 de Novembro de 1975, corridas floresceram em Luanda. Muitos carros interessantes participaram, entre outros Ferrari, Maserati, Porsche, Lotus e outros.
Estou interessado nas corridas que tiveram lugar a partir de 1957 a 1960 quando eu próprio participei em Luanda.
O carro é uma Ferrari Barchetta 166M. o "M" indica que o modelo foi construído para a corrida do Mille Miglia.
Em setembro de 1959 este carro foi inscrito no 3º GP de Angola com Sebastião Gouveia.
Outro Ferrari (um tipo 225S) na mesma corrida foi conduzido por Mario Morais Sarmento.
Alguém sabe o que aconteceu a estes dois senhores? Desconfio que eles poderiam ter emigraram para o Brasil.

MOTOR RACING IN ANGOLA
"Dear Mr Saloma,
I read your article in the Interlagos book I recently purchased, and was hoping that you will be able to help me.
During the period from the end the second world war until Angolan independence in 1975 motor racing flourished in Luanda. Many interesting cars took part amongst others Ferrari , Maserati, Porsche, Lotus and others.
I am interested in the races that took place from 1957 to 1960 when the car I own raced in Luanda.
The car is a very early Ferrari Barchetta 166M . the "M" denotes that the model was built for racing in the Mille Miglia.
In September 1959 this car was entered in the 3rd G.P. of Angola by Sebastiao Gouveia.
Another Ferrari ( a type 225S ) in the same race was driven by Mario Morais Sarmento.
Does anybody know what has happened to these two gentlemen? I suspect that they might have emigrated to Brazil.
