1 - Garrafas de vidro são perigosas se quebrarem, tanto na mão do usuário, como principalmente nas mãos de quem recolhe o material para coleta.

2 - São uma praga das rodovias. O peso de um caminhão cheio de garrafas é muito maior do que um de plástico, afundando e esburacando o asfalto, gastando muito mais diesel, freios, pneus, peças em geral.

3 - A industria decidiu que garrafas Long Neck são descartáveis. Prefiro poder amassar uma embalagem para que ocupe volume menor que uma de vidro, sem contar o peso.

4 - A abundância de matéria-prima, causa um desinteresse na reciclagem do vidro. É parecido com a abundância de água doce que temos no Brasil. Se tem um monte, para que racionalizar?

5 - A briga de embalagens é inútil. Cada uma tem sua utilidade, se adeuqnado melhor a um ou outro uso. Devíamos mesmo brigar é para que haja reciclagem dos materiais e que seja feito o uso racional das embalagens.
