Geninho já o quis fora do time. Marcos Malucelli passou perto de emprestá-lo. Quase ninguém acreditava nele até se mostrar a mola propulsora de todo um time.
Foi Leandro Niehues que o deixou pisar no gramado rubro-negro paranaense pela primeira vez como profissional, além de Carpegiane e Adilson Batista que acreditarem no garoto. E desde então pelo menos uma dúzia de torcedores e agentes talvez já o reconhecem por segurar o CAP no Campeonato Brasileiro de 2011.
O Londrinense formado nas categorias de base do PSTC, de família pobre e sem quase nenhuma perspectiva de vida talvez seja o único ainda deslumbrado com o time que abraçou desde 2005.
Joga por amor. Não joga por dinheiro. E o salário prova.
Promovido à equipe principal em 2009, Deivid Coquinho, camisa 5 do Atlético-PR foi novamente o herói da equipe no último jogo contra o Santos, na Arena da Baixada.

E Marcinho, aos 46 minutos, fez de cabeça o gol que fecharia o placar no Joaquim Américo. Foram 3 contra 2. E um contra todos.
Mas as notícias da imprensa não relatam a garra dos volantes. Não são eles os destaques da reportagem. Não ganham uma menção sequer em matérias ou notas esportivas.
Porém o torcedor... Esse tudo vê. O torcedor reconhece a garra de Deivid William da Silva, o menino que não aceitou ser mais um.
O mesmo garoto que anulou PH Ganso no domingo. E por 94 minutos driblou Neymar, cercou Neymar, inibiu Neymar.
Enfrentou as juras do menino da Vila sem reação alguma. Não pestanejou. Não respondeu à ira de um garoto que pela primeira vez se viu encarado em campo.
Guerreiro, foi o próprio Davi enfrentando Golias.
O pequeno gigante de 1,74m engoliu o Santos. Levou o time nas costas.
Não é à toa que Deivid é vendido como “Ouro da Casa”.
Um antídoto contra o veneno Neymar vendido ao mundo como craque e supostamente ao Real Madrid por pelo menos 8 milhões de Euros por ano.
E Deivid? Este certamente também vale ouro. Apenas não entendemos porquê continua apenas recebendo bronze.
